When Will Shadow Inventory Hit the Arizona Real Estate Market?
According to an article in azcentral this week: ” Arizona no longer has a large potential glut of future foreclosures looming over its housing market like other states, according to real-estate experts at the forecast.”
In Summary it states that Banks are finally waking up to the idea that Short Sales mean more money for them.The average price per square foot through a short is $71 versus $60 for a bank owned property.
From the article you will see that banks want to halt the foreclosures and instead approve the short sales in a more timely manner.
So Waiting for Shadow Inventory to Hit the Arizona Real Estate Market may not be the best strategy.
